    We have been working hard over the last week to roll out our website upgrades as quickly as we can, progress has been slower than I would of liked however we are making sure it is done properly and we roll out a good product. Now we are happy to say the first 2 steps in the project are finished and ready to roll out. These are the:

    It seems the outage with GMC has been resolved and the server is rebooting now. Should be able to join shortly.

    We are looking into an issue causing the server to crash when changing map. We are currently investigating a number of different possible causes and will update further once we have more information.

    We have implemented a number of performance related changes to attempt to improve overall performance. We will be continuing to monitor the situation and implement further changes as needed.

    We are aware of a few performance related issues with the new server. I would like to make it clear this is not due to the server hardware but some internal configuration which we are still figuring out (due to the short notice switching over).

    We are working hard to figure out what is causing these issues and we have been tweaking some internal configurations and have some further plans being rolled out to attempt to improve performance to a more reasonable level.

    Following a server crash there was a slight issue with players reconnecting. After a full restart most users seem to be able to connect, if you cannot connect make sure to restart Gmod. If you are still experiencing issues after this ask in Help and Support

    After a server restart the TAB menu is back and working as expected, with the new NPC KILLS tabs.

    Following some quick testing we can confirm that the issue has been caused due to a mounting issue when the servers map changed, this should only require a full restart to fix which will be done later tonight when the server quietens.

    We are aware that the TAB menu has reverted back to the default one, I believe this is because the server didn't properly mount the changes when it did the map change, this is a weird quirk of Gmod but not something I though would effect this change.

    It should sort after a proper server restart, if not then we will revert the changes made and look into it further.

    We are aware of a increased number of random pages causing forum errors, we have collected a number of the error codes displayed and are in contact with Cosmos support to try and identify and fix the issue.

    We are currently aware of the following areas causing errors

    • Specific User Searches
    • Help and Support Archive Board
    • A couple of user profiles
      If you experience an error with something other than these, please let Dandy know (either though a Web bug report or a discord DM if the forums are not working for you).

    Further updates will be posted when we know more.

Increased Loading Times

    Gluapack has now been reenabled on the server, therefore loadings times should be completely back to normal, any more issues let us know.

    The server is also now online again, sorry for the 3 restarts, was having some issues getting Gluapack to properly load.

    There may still be some slower loading times (with lua) due to Gluapack being down currently.

    Map building was successfully completed last night (forgot to write this then), everything should be setup when we move over to the map tonight.
    To ensure you can connect to the server when we move over ensure you either have workshopDL enabled or subscribe to the map (found in the map content).

    On the 3rd of June (this Saturday), at around 20:00 staff will begin the process of building our new rotational map, rptitanrishi_republic. The server will be locked and the late event will be cancelled to allow staff to better develop the map.
